Q:What is the difference between a BWAV and a wav file?
A: There is an extra chunk in a BWAV file called the "bext" chunk. That's the only difference.
Q: Are there other programs that can edit BWAV files
A: Yes there are a number of DAWs and library database programs that allow editing of metadata.
Q: Are you still producing a Windows version?
A: No, there was a lack of interest in the Windows versions, I recommend BWF widget.
